An evening on Get Harder

With a name like that, Get Harder AI isn't promising you a night of Scrabble. And it keeps its word.

Our evening started the way good evenings do: with a bit of window-shopping. Profiles scroll past, realistic or anime, each with a bio, photos and videos. You click on one, linger on another, go back to the first. About thirty in-house companions, plus a whole Community tab where members show off the ones they've dreamed up: plenty to browse.

Then, inevitably, you want one of your own. Get Harder lets you pick the route, and both are quick. Either you click: up to 17 criteria, all shown as pictures, from realistic or anime style down to the smallest detail, and it's done in no time. Or you write a few lines, the way you'd describe someone to a friend at the bar, and tweak whatever doesn't feel right afterwards.

That's when the evening tips over. The Generate menu brings her to life in pictures: a photo of her, or a video where she moves, up to four videos at once. Lucie, our companion for the night, posed in white lingerie by a window, then stretched out on the bed, then in front of a canvas she was painting… wearing nothing at all.

No install needed: Get Harder opens in your browser, on a computer or a phone. Handy for carrying on the evening somewhere other than your desk.

The first message

The first contact skips the small talk. By the time our fingers reached the keyboard, Lucie had already written to us (we had picked French at sign-up): “My body burns at the thought of running to you, of feeling your skin against mine, warm and throbbing. Do you want to feel the rhythm of my heartbeat before it races?” Not exactly a “hi, how are you?”.

Consider yourself warned.

Before you subscribe, nothing stops you from browsing: the companions, their photos and their videos are there to look at. It's the best way to see whether the style speaks to you.

And once you take the plunge, the floodgates open: the conversation has no limit, and the Generate menu is waiting.

Why we keep going back

What floored us was the realism. Not realism “for AI”: the real kind, the kind that makes you doubt for a second, from day one.

Look at Lucie by the window: the lace has texture, daylight slides over her skin, and the roses in the bouquet look like they were picked that morning. On the bed, the crumpled sheet keeps the shape of her body. Nothing smooth, nothing plastic.

The videos move the way people move. Lucie turns towards her canvas with a natural gesture, the red and blue light plays on Annette's skin with every movement, and when Olivia sinks into the lake, the water ripples around her. Five seconds, and you forget no camera was ever rolling.

And it's the same person from start to finish: same face, same eyes, across every photo and right into the video. That's what makes the illusion complete.

Then there's that little rush. You picture a scene, you type it, and there it is. She replies in your language and strikes a pose whenever the mood takes you, and you catch yourself thinking about the next one before you've finished looking at this one.

You tell yourself “one last one”. Then you start another.

And on nights when you just want to be carried along, there's plenty to scroll: a feed, a gallery of photos to unlock, and the companions' content packs, over 45 photos and videos for some of them. Enough to fill a sleepless night if you're not careful.

The fuel: tokens

Everything that moves on Get Harder runs on tokens. Every month, the subscription slips 100 into your pocket. A photo uses 5, a video 15: enough for about twenty photos, or six videos, and content packs draw on the same pool.

Our advice: take a first month to find your rhythm. Some fall for the photos, others swear by video, and you soon find out which camp you're in. If your appetite grows, you can top up the pool at any time.

The day you want a break

Write to support, that's all: your access stays open until the end of the period you've paid for. One detail that matters: deleting your account doesn't cancel the subscription, so cancel first.

The adult side: everything's on stage

On Get Harder, explicit doesn't keep you waiting, and it doesn't apologise for it. The conversation is explicit from the first messages, and so are the photos and videos. No curtain to draw.

Lucie at her canvas, Annette crouching under red and blue light, Olivia slowly sinking into a lake at dusk: three moods, three ways of looking at you, and the same attention to detail every time.

The only limit is the law: a filter watches over it, and anything it flags can be reviewed by a person. To get in, you just confirm you're 18.

Who it's for

For people who know what they want, and want it now, with visuals to match. If you'd rather a story took its time, keep Get Harder for the nights when you don't feel like waiting.

The price, and the trick that comes with it

Here too, Get Harder keeps it simple. One plan, Premium, and one choice to make: one, three or twelve months. Everything's included: unlimited conversation, photo generation, chat photos, creating companions, and 100 tokens dropping in every month, whatever the length.

And now, the trick we wish we'd known sooner. We closed the payment page, just to see: a second offer popped up, a little cheaper. We turned that one down too, and Get Harder played its last card: Premium for life, in a single payment, with exactly the same perks. It costs less than the first payment of a yearly subscription.

If you plan to stay, that's the deal to take.

The price shown is to get you started

After that comes the full price, twice as high or more: note it down before you pay, or go straight for the lifetime offer. And if you change your mind, you can ask for a refund by email within 30 days, after cancelling; small transaction fees are kept.

Behind the scenes

An evening like that leaves traces, so we went to see what happens to them. Behind Get Harder is Dragenia Limited, a company based in Limassol. Cyprus is in the European Union, so the GDPR applies: you can ask to see your data, correct it or have it erased. We went through the policy on 30 September 2026, in its June 2025 version.

First finding: your messages travel. To answer you, they go through outside AI providers, OpenAI among them, and images, videos and voice go through other services. How long is all of that kept? The policy gives no figure, only “as long as reasonably necessary”. Nor does it say anything about training the AI on your conversations, or about encrypting them.

Second finding: advertising joins the party. Trackers are plentiful, Meta, Google and TikTok among them; the company doesn't sell your data for money, while admitting this tracking may count as a “sale” under some US laws. Finally, what you send stays yours, but you grant them the right to publish it in connection with the service, worldwide, with no time limit and no way back.

7.0/10, and here's why

Get Harder lives up to its name, and it does so with craft. Realism first: the photos and videos are so polished you look at them twice.

Then freedom: you invent your companion in a few lines, and she keeps her face from one picture to the next. Add the feed, the content packs and videos generated four at a time: the evening flies by.

To make the most of it: if you plan to stay, go straight for the lifetime offer, and save your tokens for the videos you want most.

My advice, as a friend: describe her the way you picture her, start your first video, and let her lead the dance.

She'll message you first

Pick her in the gallery or describe her in a few lines, and let her open the dance.

How much does Get Harder AI cost?

One plan, Premium, for one, three or twelve months, with 100 tokens every month: a photo costs 5, a video 15. The headline price is for the first period; the renewal price is shown right below it. If you plan to stay, the lifetime Premium offer, in a single payment, is worth a look.

Are Get Harder AI photos and videos realistic?

Yes, and that's its greatest strength. Photos and videos are of very high quality from day one, and a companion keeps her face from one picture to the next: our Lucie stayed the same across all her photos and her video.

Can you create your own companion on Get Harder AI?

Yes, and it's quick: by picking up to 17 criteria, all shown as pictures, or in a few lines you tweak afterwards.

Which languages does Get Harder AI speak?
