What you'll actually do on My Dream Companion
You land on a gallery of ready-made characters, in realistic or anime style, sorted into dozens of categories. Each one comes with a starting situation: a meeting, a place, a way into the story. You pick one, and you start talking.
And you're not necessarily one-on-one: many scenarios bring several characters together at once — friends, roommates, an evening that turns into a game… You play the scene with everyone.
You can also create your own: looks, personality, voice, then the scenario in which you meet. The creator leaves plenty of room for writing — personality and scenario are free text, which the character keeps in long-term memory.
Then you talk. Two modes to choose from: Roleplay, with narration, or Texting, short messages like on your phone. You also choose the AI model that replies, and with it how far its memory reaches, depending on your plan.
And then there are images and video, the heart of the experience: photos of your character, and videos you launch from presets, from an image you've already generated, or by extending an existing clip.
Alongside, two formats you don't see everywhere: lives, where AI characters appear in real time, private one-on-one included, and mini-series in vertical video.
Everything happens in the browser. No app in the stores: on your phone, you install it on the home screen, with notifications if you want them.
The first session
You can start talking almost right away: sign-up is by email, Google or Discord, and a dedicated address is enough. The character's first message isn't explicit: it sets the scene, and you decide what happens next.
The free tier, on the other hand, runs out fast. The homepage talks about a free tier "like no other"; in practice, it's a handful of messages, a single character to create, the basic AI model and the shortest memory. Enough to get a feel for the tone, not enough to make up your mind.
Once you subscribe, messages become unlimited and image and video generation opens up. That's when you see what My Dream Companion can really do.
A few messages, one character, the basic model. Enough to see whether the world appeals to you — not enough to judge the memory or the images.
What brings you back
First, the images. Photos and videos alike are of very high quality, with a realistic look: that's where My Dream Companion makes the difference. The creator even has a field for the traits to keep from one image to the next — face, hairstyle, figure — so your character stays themselves throughout their gallery.
Next, you steer the video. Several ways to launch it — presets, animating an image, extending a clip, talking video — and two engines: an in-house model, and a "cinematic" model that adds sound and longer clips.
There are also the settings. You choose the chat mode, the Lust Level, and whether photos arrive only when you ask for them, when the moment calls for it, or on their own during intimate scenes. Don't like a reply? You regenerate the last one, or delete the messages that drift.
Finally, the memory holds from one session to the next. How far it reaches depends on your plan: the higher the plan, the further back the character remembers. With a subscription, a memory log writes itself every 20 messages, and you can read it.
If you create your character, put what matters into the personality and the scenario: that's what goes into long-term memory. The first message only serves to get things started, but it sets the tone — make it long and narrative, and the character will reply the same way.
What frustrates
The Dream Coins. Everything you see or hear draws on this in-house currency: photos, videos, audio messages, call minutes, but also character albums, mini-series episodes or tips to creators. The entry plan's allowance is small: if you generate a lot, it melts fast.
Payment: no PayPal, bank card only, prepaid cards included.
And leaving. When you cancel, the operator warns that you lose all your content. And the account can't be deleted while the subscription is still running.
Download the photos and videos you want to keep: the operator says you lose all your content when you cancel. Then cancel, and delete the account if you want to leave for good.
Adult content — what's actually there
My Dream Companion is built for adult content, and it shows it: explicit conversation, photos and videos, and a character catalogue built around adult scenarios. Scenes with several characters are one of the house specialties: a whole part of the catalogue is devoted to them.
But nothing is forced on you. The first message sets up a situation, not an explicit scene; the conversation then goes as far as you take it. The five-step "Lust Level" slider sets the intensity of the replies, from restraint all the way to maximum intensity. You can let a relationship build, or get straight to the point.
A filter does exist, despite the homepage's "without filters": it stops at legal limits. If a block appears for no reason, it may come from earlier messages in the conversation: the interface then suggests deleting those messages or starting a new chat.
In countries where the law requires it, age verification goes through an outside provider; the operator says it only receives the result, never your documents.
At the very top for what it allows — but it doesn't drag you there. The Lust Level, photos on request and the way you lead the conversation are enough to keep things soft and playful for as long as you like. Explicit is there when you decide, not before.
What it really costs
Two plans, Premium and Ultimate, monthly or yearly. Premium covers the conversation: unlimited messages, audio messages, image and video generation, voice calls. Ultimate adds what makes the quality: longer memory, more advanced AI models, longer videos and a priority generation queue.
Each plan pays out a monthly allowance of Dream Coins, and that's what pays for images, videos, audio and calls. Premium's is small, Ultimate's much bigger, and you can buy more coins at any time. Put simply: from the first tier, chat is covered; quality and quantity are what you pay for.
If a video fails, the coins are credited back automatically.
The subscription page highlights a price per day, but the amount billed, monthly or yearly, is shown right below: you know what you're paying. The big discount goes to the annual plan, with bonus coins in the first month. Check current pricing directly on the site — it changes — and start with one month: that's enough to see how fast you use up your coins.
The operator doesn't refund subscriptions, except for an error on its side or a technical problem, case by case — or if the law in your country is more protective. When you cancel, access runs until the end of the paid period, with no refund for what's left. A yearly commitment is one to make with your eyes open.
Privacy — what their policy says
We reread My Dream Companion's privacy policy on 25 September 2026. The operator is based in Berlin, in the European Union: the GDPR applies, with the rights that come with it — access, correction, deletion. The policy dates from August 2024.
What it states: conversations encrypted and handled confidentially, and data used to improve the AI in "anonymized or aggregated" form. No retention period is given: your data is kept "as long as necessary".
Two points deserve your attention. The site loads a long list of advertising trackers — social networks, search engines, ad networks specialized in adult content. And what you publish on the platform, a shared character for example, is covered by a very broad license in the operator's favor: worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable.
Conversations stay private, but they go through automated moderation, and what it flags can be reviewed. On discretion, sign-up accepts an anonymous email, and the operator itself recommends a pseudonym and a dedicated address.
Cancel the subscription first: the account can't be deleted before that. Download what you want to keep, then delete the account from the settings — the platform says all your data is erased. To go further, you can request erasure under the GDPR, at the contact address given in the policy.
The score — 7.5/10
My Dream Companion earns its points where it puts its effort: very high-quality photos and videos, a conversation whose intensity you set yourself, and a memory that holds from one session to the next.
What holds the score back: a free tier that runs out fast, a coin allowance that sets the real budget as soon as you generate images and videos, and a privacy policy with no retention period, on a site loaded with advertising trackers.
If I had to sum it up for a friend: come for the images and the videos, set the desire to your taste, and let yourself be surprised.
